Do I have to choose a line when purchasing an OpenTour pass?

No. The pass is valid on all three of our bus lines.

Can I get on and off the bus?

Yes, you can get on and off as you wish.

Is the pass valid for 24 hours?

No, the pass is not valid for 24 hours. If you buy a one day pass at noon, for example, you can use it until the end of the service (same day). However, if you buy a one day pass after 4:00pm, the ticket will automatically be valid for the whole  next day.

Is there a ticket for a half day or for a two hours tour?

No, we only provide 1, 2 or 3 day passes.

Do you operate on Sundays and holidays?

Yes, our tours operate 7 days a week.

Do I have access to public transport (bus or underground) with the OpenTour pass?

No, our passes are only valid on our lines.

Will there be a commentary?

Yes, commentaries are provided in 10 languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese). A set of headphones will be given for free.

Should I return the headphones after the tour?

No, you can keep them.

How frequent are the buses?

Every 15 minutes from April to October. Every 20 minutes from November to March. For more information please check our timetable on this website .

How do I recognize the bus line or ligne?

There is a square on the windscreen which indicates the colour of the line.

Can I get on the bus with my pet?

It depends on the size of your pet. We only allow small pets in a basket or a travel bag and guide dogs.

Can a person in a wheelchair get on the bus?

Our buses can accomodate any person in possession of a folding chair who is able to occupy an available seat on board. However, if you require one of our 8 buses with wheelchair access, please contact us on: +33 (0) 1 42 66 56 56.

Can I leave my bags at the OpenTour Office?

No, for security reasons we cannot keep your luggage

Can I get on the bus with my luggage?

Only if you do not disturb other passengers, block the bus doors or the passageway. We will not be responsible for any loss or theft.

Do I have to use my two day pass on consecutive days?

Yes, the days must be consecutive.

Can I smoke on the bus?

No. For your safety, it is strictly forbidden to smoke

Can I buy the tickets on the bus?

Yes, you can buy them directly from the bus driver (or at the OpenTour office: 13 rue Auber  75009 Paris)

Can I pay by credit card?

All cards except American Express are accepted on the bus. American Express is accepted only at the OpenTour office 13 rue Auber.

Can I pay with holiday cheques?

No, we do not accept holiday cheques

Can I pay by bank cheques?

No, we do not accept cheques.

Do students and seniors get a discount?

No, there is no discount for students and seniors.

Is there a group rate?

Yes, for groups of over 10 people a discount of 10% will be applied directly on the bus.For a higher discount, reservations must be made in advance. For further information please contact our group service at the +33 (0) 1 42 66 56 56.

I have a 3 year old child, does he need a ticket?

No, admission is free for children under 4 years of age.

Can I get a discount with my Navigo pass?

No, the Navigo pass does not entitle you to an OpenTour discount.

I bought a Paris Visite pass. Where can I get the OpenTour discount price?

You must come to the OpenTour office: 13 rue Auber (bus stop n 1). The discount will be granted only upon presentation of the Paris Visite pass. This discount cannot be applied if you buy your ticket on the bus.

Does the OpenTour pass give me access to the museums?

No. The pass is valid only for Open Tour Paris buses.

Can I get discounts on museums and tourist attractions with the OpenTour pass?

No. However, when purchasing an OpenTour pass we will give you a discount buylet that you can use at a variety of museums, tourist attractions and activities.

I have a voucher. Can I redeem it on the bus?

Yes, you can.
